The First Entry

Hello Friends... Fans.. Internet perverts alike!

This is the first official entry of my abroad blog. I figured as I'm going to be very broke/busy in italy this will be the best way to keep everyone in my life up to date on my goings on as I make the move to rome for the semester.

Currently it is my last night in gloucester. My bags are packed, (and largely overweight), my room is clean, my lists are checked, and I am pretty much ready to go.

It still hasn't really hit yet that in less than 20 hours I'll be taking off, but that's usually the case with me.


I fly out of logan at 9:30 tomorrow night via Swiss Air to Zurich, have an hour lay-over, then fly to Rome arriving at 2:00pm. Me and my friend Brittany are flying together and are getting picked up by an API-affiliated service at the airport and dropped off at our orientation hotel.

After talking to a girl from last year I heard that orientation was insane. people pooped in the hallways. in all seriousness. And I mean, I don't know what says fun like public defecation. I only hope that I can introduce myself to 40 new classmates and the country of Italy in such a way. (fingers crossed!)


anyway, I should get some sleep. not sure when I'll be updating next, but keep your eyes and eyes peeled campers.
